The amount of work and dedication that goes into this display every year is incredible!!! I've heard of this attraction for years but just went for the first time this year. I'm not one to scare easily, but there were a good amount of places along the way that absolutely jump scared me and the rest of my group!! Overall, absolutely phenomenal!!

Over the past two years, I’ve had the pleasure of attending this homegrown attraction, and it has consistently delivered an exceptional experience. Hellwig Hollow offers a quarter-mile walk through a dense, wooded area, creating an immersive environment that heightens the sense of dread and anticipation. The natural surroundings are expertly utilized, with live actors and detailed sets that blend seamlessly into the landscape, ensuring that scares come from unexpected places. The creativity and design of Hellwig Hollow are truly commendable. Each scene is meticulously crafted, with attention to detail that rivals some of the best commercial haunts I’ve attended. The use of both indoor and outdoor spaces adds variety and keeps visitors on edge throughout the experience. The actors at Hellwig Hollow are dedicated professionals who bring their characters to life with enthusiasm and skill. Their ability to engage and terrify guests is a testament to their talent and the high standards set by the attraction. The interactions are intense yet respectful, ensuring a thrilling experience without crossing boundaries. At $20 per ticket, Hellwig Hollow offers exceptional value for the quality of the experience provided. The attraction is open every Friday and Saturday night from late September through October, accommodating a wide range of schedules. Parking is conveniently located at the Dawghouse Bar & Grill, with a shuttle service to the haunt, making it accessible and hassle-free for visitors. Hellwig Hollow has quickly become a must-visit haunt for us. Its combination of immersive atmosphere, creative design, talented performers, and excellent value sets it apart in the crowded field of haunted attractions. This is the 2nd year we went and 2023 was by FAR better. Granted they did add some new scenes, but the scenes from last year were exactly the same! Actors were in the same spots except the teddy bear. We knew what to expect at all times. They were lacking at least 10+ actors and many spots along the trail felt like we were just taking a leisurely walk thru the woods. As I said we still had a good time, but we're very disappointed. Debating if it's worth it to come back next year.

This was the best Haunted attraction I have been too! We did another local haunt about 30 miles from here and our 9/10/12 year olds said this was by far the best! The adults agree! The wait was long, weather was nice, price is good and worth the wait! While waiting they had people in costumes creeping around which added to the excitmenent! They also had a food truck with hot chocolate, food, cider. Their costumes and the set up is absolutely on point, this is a must, we will be back every year!

I have been telling everyone about how great this is so I can expect the wait will get longer which is totally worth it!!

I went two nights in a row and was equally as scared both nights ! They put a lot into what they do and the actors weren’t in the same spots both nights so I was in for a surprise !! Definitely a 10/10 !!

So much fun! Lots of different scenes and scares! Super fun and great actors! It’s a bit of a hike so be prepared! And there was one point I laughed screamed and ran so much I had a good old fashioned asthma attack! 10/10 recommend. We are coming back this year and bringing friends!

amazing people, amazing trail, lots of hard work put into it and the classes!!! i definitely recommend checking it out this year because lots more is coming this spooky season!!!
