The Pittsford Haunted House is extra fun and spooky! All the waiting areas are under cover, so you don't get wet even if the weather is bad. Parking is ample and well-directed, in the field just after/behind the Pittsford town office building. After you buy your ticket, you take a wagon ride through torch-lit woods inhabited by creatures to your destination, the Pittsford Haunted House. (The wagons have covers too.) You then enter the second waiting area which has food concession on each end. Spooky creatures haunt this area, and there is entertainment in the form of a band "playing" lively music. The tour through the house(s) is guided. The floor is uneven and you go up and down levels, so bear that in mind. The houses are inhabited by all manner of spooky and creepy beings. On exiting, you can take a wagon back to the parking area right away, or grab a snack and a T-shirt or hat. I would rate the Pittsford Haunted House very high in entertainment and spooky/creepy factors, but moderate in scare factor. I'd say it's the most fun I've ever had at a haunted house... which, by the way, may actually be a real haunted house.
