Summary:
Mt. Washington Manor Haunted House is a fundraising and community project. The idea for the haunted house came from the members of Mt. Washington Lodge as a way to get more involved in the neighborhood by providing some much needed Halloween excitement for the Mt. Washington, Fairmont, and Sugar Creak areas. Built in the lower level of a 100 year old Masonic temple, the popularity of the haunt has quickly spread throughout Independence, then to the greater Kansas City area.
